The demand for the services Peach provides is always growing. Unlike many other charities Peach does not hold investments but spends all of its funds on charitable purposes. There are a number of ways that you can support the activities Peach undertakes.
Making a Donation
The majority of donations we receive are used to fund our helpline, which is a valuable resource to parents, especially those parents whose children have just had a diagnosis of autism.
You can make a one off donation by forwarding a cheque to Peach, The Brackens, London Road, Ascot, Berkshire, SL5 8BE or visit the Just Giving website at www.justgiving.com/peach/donate. Peach are being supported by various sponsored events on the Just Giving website. If you are a UK taxpayer we can claim another 28% for each donation we receive. This means for every £1,000 donated we can claim an additional £280.
If you are not able to make a donation yourself perhaps you could pass the details to a friend or colleague.
Corporate Sponsors
Increasingly companies like to support charities recommended and/or used by their employees. If your company has a charitable or community fund or a ‘Give as you Earn’ scheme perhaps you could put Peach forward as a potential beneficiary. We are happy to provide additional information to support our case.
Gifts in Kind
Peach is always looking for volunteers to help with the work we do. If you have skills that you think might be useful to us then give us a call. Electrical and IT equipment is always useful. We need televisions and videos to assist with our training programmes/workshops and computers, laptops and other IT equipment are essentials that stretch our budget. If you or your company are replacing equipment then perhaps you could donate any surplus equipment to Peach.
Fundraising Events
Many of our sponsors hold events to raise money for Peach. These have included:
Coffee mornings
Sponsored events (running, climbing, parachuting, walking etc)
School fundraising events
Charity auctions
Fundraising balls and dinner dances
We are always happy to provide information packs and sponsorship forms if you need them. Or visit the website www.justgiving.com/peach/raisemoney and set up a web page for your event.
Legacies and donations in lieu of flowers
You may wish to make a bequest to Peach in your will or commemorate the memory of a loved one by asking for donations to be made to Peach in lieu of flowers.
We greatly appreciate any donation big or small. All donations and gifts in kind are acknowledged by personal letter and “thank you lists” are printed in our bi monthly magazine Speach.
