The first home programmes began in the UK in late 1995/early 1996. At this time, parents had no option but to engage the services of providers from abroad (U.S.A. and Norway) to supervise their child's programmes.
As this was both expensive and too infrequent, a key aim for Peach has been to both train UK based staff and to encourage US providers to establish clinics in the UK.

Peach has been instrumental in training tutors and senior supervisors through previous involvement in the Young Autism Project.
Peach now has 11 trained case managers (senior supervisors) working in various parts of the country and aims to continue to find effective ways to encourage tutors into the field of ABA, providing training workshops for new and experienced tutors.
Peach publishes details of training courses in the newsletter SPEACH and will post them on this web-site in the News section.
As a result of our work in this area, it is now possible to gain access to a service provider in your locality and waiting lists have all but been eliminated.
